In these courses, Formula Families, as well as formula presentations (方证) are discussed in great detail, following the lifelong work of Dr. Even's teacher Professor Huáng Huáng (黄煌). The concept of a 'formula family' is introduced as well as key herbs and formulas. This framework has been made popular in recent years by Professor Huang, but what is the history, the origin, and who were the key players in the evolution of this framework?
This course has several components and will be broken up into a theory section that will discuss the theoretical underpinning of this concept, as well as the several sections discussing the herba families and their respective formulas. We take a very deep dive into this beautiful and meticulous concept, as well as end up travelling down some deep rabbit holes unravelling complex theoretical concepts. Material from this module can be used immediately in one's own clinical practice.

- Cháihú 柴胡
- Bànxià 半夏
- Huángqí 黄芪
- Fùzǐ 附子
- Fúlíng 茯苓

Several other herbs and formulas are presented within each section as they relate to the respective herb.
These courses are broken up into smaller sections consisting of one to three herbs, and released at the beginning of each month. Q&A sections follow where questions, cases, and discussions can be presented, and explorations down deep rabbit holes can be had. There is an option to either buy the full course or individual sections.
